In 2015 the Company's employees took part in the "Environmental Culture of Vologda Region" project. Look into yourself" organized by VRO LLC ROSSOYUZSPAS. Filling stations No. 12, 19, 21 and 41 placed display board leaflets informing the drivers about rest areas, solid waste collection points, "green" parking, cafes, and spring wells along the Vologda - Medvezhyegorsk federal highway.
2015 — the Company's employees took part in the "Blooming City" project aimed at planting trees and shrubs in the town of Cherepovets and raising its cultural level. As part of the contest, filling station No. 8 was awarded a diploma in the category "Best Flower Decoration of the Premises of a Consumer Market Enterprise".
2015 — LUKOIL received a letter of gratitude for significant achievements in the implementation of environmental projects aimed at introducing new and expanding the existing environmental protection initiatives within the framework of the regional contest "For Contribution to Nature Preservation".
2015 — the water protection zone of the Shogrash river mouth, adjacent to the Vologda bulk plant, was beautified.
2015 — Filling stations No. 23 and No. 64 of the Company won the regional contest "Fire Safety 2015" in the category "Fire Safe Facility of the Service Sector".
2016 — the Company was distinguished "For Best Organizational Efforts in the Area of Occupational Safety" in the category "Other Activities" in the 10th regional contest.
PJSC LUKOIL has been operating in the Vologda Region since the establishment of OJSC LUKOIL-Vologdanegteprodukt in 1993. Now it is hard to imagine the Vologda highway landscape without the red and white filling stations located most conveniently for drivers and tourists — on M-8 Moscow-Kholmogory highway, on the way to Veliky Ustyug, Father Frost's estate, and to Saint-Petersburg. In addition to 61 filling stations there are two big bulk plants in the region providing high quality petroleum products to the Russian North produced by the LUKOIL refineries.
The region is actively implementing the project aimed at building multi-purpose roadside service complexes. In cooperation with the Vologda Region Government, the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) and co-investors, LUKOIL is building next generation filling stations. The complex includes a LUKOIL filling station, a full cycle cafe, parking space for heavy trucks, weight checking, a tire shop and other services that drivers need on the road.
Vologda Region Government and PJSC LUKOIL signed a Cooperation Agreement.
Filling Station No. 75 was commissioned on the premises of the Cherepovetsk Iron and Steel Works of OJSC Severstal.
Filling station No. 64 (416th kilometer of the M-8 Moscow - Archangelsk federal highway) was converted into a multi-purpose roadside complex.
New format filling stations — No. 55, No. 23 and No. 41 (as part of MKDS).
The Social and Cultural Projects Competition has been organized by PJSC LUKOIL in Vologda Region since 2012.
2014 — A state-of-the-art biology classroom was built for gifted children. Implementation of the project led to the establishment of the biology and chemistry educational resource center to prepare and give lessons, elective courses, extracurricular activities, and organize research work for children.
The Company and the LUKOIL Charity Fund have been acting as a sponsor of the Veliky Ustyug orphanage for many years. In July 2015 a multi-purpose sports ground opened on the premises of the orphanage.
