PJSC LUKOIL has been operating in the Vologda Region since the establishment of OJSC LUKOIL-Vologdanegteprodukt in 1993. Now it is hard to imagine the Vologda highway landscape without the red and white filling stations located most conveniently for drivers and tourists — on M-8 Moscow-Kholmogory highway, on the way to Veliky Ustyug, Father Frost's estate, and to Saint-Petersburg. In addition to 61 filling stations there are two big bulk plants in the region providing high quality petroleum products to the Russian North produced by the LUKOIL refineries.
The region is actively implementing the project aimed at building multi-purpose roadside service complexes. In cooperation with the Vologda Region Government, the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) and co-investors, LUKOIL is building next generation filling stations. The complex includes a LUKOIL filling station, a full cycle cafe, parking space for heavy trucks, weight checking, a tire shop and other services that drivers need on the road.
