LUKOIL operates in Macedonia through its subsidiary — LUKOIL Macedonia LTD in Skopje.
LUKOIL began operations in Macedonia on August 17, 2005, consistent with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Macedonian Government and LUKOIL.
Established customers of LUKOIL Macedonia LTD Skopje include the country's Government, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, embassies, commercial banks, power engineering companies, foreign-owned enterprises.
At the end of 2015, 27 LUKOIL gas stations were in service in Macedonia.

The first LUKOIL gas station in Macedonia opened on September 1, 2006. Its official launch took place on September 8, 2006. It is located at the entrance to Skopje, in Kamnik area.
LUKOIL bought a bulk plant with a tank battery capacity of 5,600 cubic meters located in Štip, a city in the east of the country.
The 27th Petrovec gas station was put into service. The Company’s share of the local petroleum product retail market is around 15 percent. The total investments in the distribution network development in the Republic of Macedonia amounted to over 48 million US dollars. In 2006, the Company bought and reconstructed a bulk plant in Štip (registered as an excise warehouse).
