Following the launch of key production facilities, we ramped up gas production from the Gissar project to the plateau level of 5 billion cubic meters per annum. The facilities include a 4.4 bcmpa gas treatment plant, a gas pre-treatment unit, and six gas gathering facilities.
The produced oil is supplied to Bukhara and Fergana refineries via the Shurtan terminal. The raw stock from the South-West Gissar is processed under a contract with UDP Shurtanneftgaz. Marketable gas is sold in three export directions, including the North (Russia, Gazprom), the South (Kazakhstan, Gazprom) and the East (China, Petrochina).
LUKOIL has reached a progress milestone at its South-West Gissar project
in Uzbekistan as it successfully launched the main production and
process facilities there. Gas production at the Gissar fields cluster reached planned production
level of 14 million cubic meters a day, or 5 billion cubic meters per
of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Merziyoyev received President of LUKOIL
Vagit Alekperov. They discussed implementation of LUKOIL’s
current projects in Uzbekistan and prospects for broader cooperation. Special
