Development of the Kandym group of fields (consisting of Kandym, Kuvachi-Alat, Akkum, Parsankul, Khodzhi, West Khodzhi) is one of the Company's priorities. The Kandym group of gas fields is located in Karakul District of Bukhara Oblast, near the Turkmen border. The contract area is 431 sq. km.
LLC LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company and JSC "Uzbekneftegaz".
The LUKOIL Group’s consortium share is 90%.
Share of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" is 10%.

key facility of the Kandym project is 8 bcmpa gas processing complex, one of
the largest in Central Asia. The complex was designed for gas desulfurization
and production of marketable gas, stable gas condensate, and marketable sulfur.
plant consists of two process lines, 4 bcm each. The
plant’s infrastructure includes external power and water supply facilities, a
gas production and gathering system, and an export gas pipeline, as well as a
field camp, a fire station, and other infrastructure.
